OK, here's how it works.
- You browse the site and when you find something you may want to buy, simply enter the detailed information page (by clicking the Info/Buy button) where you'll find full and accurate descriptions of the item along with one or more detail photographs. If you're happy with it, enter the quantity in the box provided (a default of 1 is set) and click the Add to Basket button (You can always adjust quantities and remove items from the basket later when you go to the checkout).
- When ever anything is added to your shopping basket you'll notice a summary is provided in the left hand menu panel. This tells you how many unique items you currently have in your basket, the total cost of those items and also how much postage will be charged.
- Continue browsing and adding until you've found everything you'd like then click on the Basket icon (top menu bar) or the basket summary and you'll be given a detailed shopping basket view. There you'll see a complete breakdown of everything you've added along with details of postage and pakaging charges. You can amend quantities and even delete items as you please (if you adjust quantities, click the Update button afterwards).
- Once you're happy with the basket contents, and assuming you want to proceed with the purchase, its time to click the Proceed to Checkout button. You will then be taken to the checkout page (which switches into secure mode - always be sure to check that the security icon appears in your browser to confirm this. In Internet Explorer this is a small padlock near the bottom right of the screen). On the checkout page you'll need to fill in your personal details unless you are a registered customer, in which case this will be done for you. For reasons of security, you will always have to enter your credit card details .
- Once you've done that, your nearly done. just check your details and then click the continue button. You'll be given one final view of what you are about to order and if you are still happy, click the proceed button and your order will be captured. You will be given an on-screen success message (assuming everything was ok) and while we automatically send you a copy of the order by email as confirmation, we also provide a button so you can print a copy of the order for your immediate records.
- Finally, we process and dispatch the order as soon as we can. Orders received before about 12 Noon are usually dispatched the same day. If you are a registered customer, you'll be able to login at any time and see what we're doing with your order (and print another copy if you wish).
Orders are mostly shipped within 1 business day and often the same day using the carriage method selected during checkout.
