THE REASON FOR THE DISPLAY INCONSISTENCIES:
Our site was designed specifically with Microsoft Web Browsers in mind because that is by far the most popular browser software around and the vast majority of our visitors use it. What's more, the patterns of use shown by our logs do not indicate a significant migration to any other browsers despite the hype.
Nevertheless, a small percentage of our visitors do use other browsers and so we try to give them the best experience we can. Of these 'Other Browsers', firefox seems to be the most popular at the moment.
However, if you are using Firefox, we cannot guarantee that the site will always display as we intended - we do our best to correct these display problems as we find them and the firefox creators say layout problems occur because their software is less tolerant of non standard layout commands. We find though, that even where a page displays incorrectly when it is first hit, it will often display correctly if refreshed - obviously our page hasn't changed so there is little we can do about that sort of quirk.
Any significant problems we know about (such as the 'Proceed to Final Stage' button being missing from the checkout page, have been corrected).
NOTE: Again, we should stress that all the problems relate to how the site gets displayed. There is no impact on how it functions or how it is secured etc. so the worst that can happen is you might not see something in the way we wanted you to see it.
