Many people believe that our lives are regulated by a series of natural cycles called biorhythm which affect the Physical, Emotional and Intellectual aspects of our lives - Time zero is defined at the moment of birth. Its actually not difficult to believe this when you consider that the whole universe is based on natural cycles - The earth rotates giving us the concept of days, the moon circles the earth giving us months and the Earth itself revolves around the sun giving us the seasons.

A Little Theory
Each biorhythm cycle lasts a slightly different period of time so the Physical rhythm lasts about 23 days, Emotional, 28 days and Intellectual about 33 days. Each cycle swings from one extreme of activity to another so when your body is in the high phase of the physical cycle you are most likely to do better at physical things such as sport. The same principles apply to the other rhythms as well - your best intelectual efforts will come during the positive half of the cycle and you'll be at your emotional peak when your cycle peaks.
Because of this swing from high activity to low activity, the idea of crytical times has been postulated. These occur when the cycle switches from on to off (or resting) and statistically this is when things out of the ordinary can happen for you (not always bad either).
Of course, because the cycles are of different lengths, you can get occurences of a physical peak, with an emotional low and actually any other combination so it would be nice to know where you stand at any particular time.
