Its worth just mentioning the login process in passing.
When you register the system creates you a personal record for you in our database. This is used to allow you to keep track of orders, maintain a wish list and access the growing range of aditional services we offer.
Once in a while we get a call asking for help with the login and it usually comes down to one of two problems:
1. The user has simply forgotten their password.
2. The password was entered in uppercase (Capital) characters and the user is trying to login using lower case or vice versa. So a quick check on the state of the CAPS lock key will generally confirm one way or the other. If you are fairly certain you have the right password, try swapping the CAPS lock state on your keyboard and try again.
To deal with the first problem, simply use the 'Forgotten Password' link provided on the login screen. All that happens is you fill in your Username and email address (it must be the one you registered with), click the button and you will be mailed a new password.
Once you get your new password (which will be a 10 digit number) you can login and then change it to something more meaningful to you.
Why can't we just send you your original we hear you ask! - Well, its a security feature. all passwords are encrypted so only you know yours (we have no way of finding out what it is). In fact, its not just your password that gets encrypted, but also any order details you put in.
