DESCRIPTION

GOLDSTONE: The copper content of this stone is what gives it it's sparkle, and the healing properties attributed to it. Copper has a strong anti-inflammatory effect, and has been used to help relieve the symptoms of arthritis, rheumatism and other painful joint conditions for many centuries.

Goldstone is a man made material, first made by monks in Northern Italy in 1520. It became so popular both for it's therapeutic properties, and for its attractive appearance, that it is still produced today.

GENERAL NOTES
NB: The seconds are a lovely size, but have black lines running through them - this in no way effects the healing properties, they just look a liitle odd.
