Chakras are believed to be the energy centres of the body. When chakras become 'blocked' or do not resonate at the frequency they should, then the parts of the body associated with these chakra become affected. Specific gemstones resonate at frequencies sympathetic to the different chakras, and are believed to clear 'blockages' or 'balance' the chakras thus ensuring the overall smooth working of the body, reflecting in good health.
